Your inventory is where you store items you pick up or craft. However, visiting these islands cost a different amount of dubloons. You can zoom out and see other islands you can loot. The map screen is where you find yourself when you open the game after the second time. But you probably have a good handle on the game after completing them. They eventually run out and after that, you are on your own. They can be found on the left side just above the directional pad. These quests guide you by suggesting structures to be built and also help you by rewarding you with items when you complete the quests.
